That new generation of fans completely caught me off guard in October at the show. Green Day concerts used to be people my age... now I feel old.

you are old! :P

but i don't think success will stop a band from breaking up, if they hate eachothers guts they won't bother staying together just because they're a new tween fad.

Green day hasn't had to change members in 10 years though. I doubt they hate each other.

I'm not saying that Green Day is by anytime is going to break up soon, but now I think evreyone is going to view them as Blink 182 (like the same kind of music). I say I will give two to three years before they brake up I think. I also think the new Candain and Other rock music that is coming out, is taking over the U.S airwaves. I think we will be surprise of what will popualer in the next few years. Look at Keane, Finger Eleven, Our Lady Peace, Sum 41, U2, etc...

I think a band you should look for that is going to be a popular band coming soon is Acceptance. Listen to thier new song "Different" its a great song.

I don't know what I classify Green Day is. I guess they can be both. I think it is more punk-rock though.

I don't see Greenday breaking up soon. I mean eventually all bands break up. Even if they don't hate each other, they'll get to old. I mean who wants to watch a group of like 85 year old people up on stage rocking out. They could like bust a hip during a solo or something.

Some bands can rock out until they're that old, like the Stones

and TONY BENNETT!
