Apparations is the best song ever. It is beautiful, and I will not hear a word against it.

Words cannot express my love for that band.
STP, ahhh yes, such good stuffwhat is your fav song of theirs? For me it is really hard between Creep and Art School Girl ... I just love the latter's opening, they must have been so high at the time to write "I gotta g/f, she goes to art school, i got an art school g/f yeah"
Whoa, sorry this is really REALLY late but I gotta reply. Hmm..it's really hard to just pick one song, I like Lounge Fly, Kitchenware & Candybars, Pretty Penny, Adhesive, Art School Girlfriend is really cool, too. Jeez, there's so many!! Naked Sunday, Too Cool Queenie, Church on Tuesday....I'll stop now.

Don't say we're healing when it's just not what we do...
^going off on an STP tangent. very nice

It's incredible! WOOO!
Yay. An MGB convert. You should check out the video for Apparations - 'tis the best ever.
Flight Recorder is very good too. I love all the ambient sounds, like the breathing, that you can hear all through the song. Loser Anthems is short but very sweet indeed.

Hey defying_gravity, what would you say is MGB's best album? I really wanna get into them because I really like Carmelina and Antipop and is it Everyone's Automatic? I can't remember, they don't get a lot of publicity around here. But, yeah, anyways, what do you recommend?

It's "Everything Is Automatic".
Depends what you're after. Audio Of Being is a musical masterpiece, but Anti-Pop and Carmelina are not really representative of the album as a whole. It's my personal favourite, but some might find it a bit strange. I'd suggest going for Beautiful Midnight first - it has the well-known singles like Hello Time Bomb, Load Me Up and Strange Days. It's more of a conventional "rock" album. As is Underdogs ("Everything Is Automatic", "Rico" and of course the sublime "Apparations").
I'd go for Beautiful Midnight first - if you like that then you'll love Underdogs and AoB. If you want to get a taste then download HTB, LMU, SD (from above) and Giant. You will not regret purchasing this album.
