The reviewer said he hopes to see a Restaurant at the End of the Universe with the same actors/director!

Well, it has good looking sock puppets and thats enough for me!
Besides, the movies you don't expect to be good that then blow you away are always the most memorable.
Like lord of the rings.

I thought that would be crap! heh.

I had very low expectations for the LotR movies. I mean, how could somebody even come close to capturing such great works?
But I have to admit, they did a damn good job.
Just like LotR, I'm not looking for anything to replace the books, but I'm hoping they'll do justice to them.

New website up and (mostly) running.
http://hitchhikers.movies.go.com/index.html
Some crappy flash, and a few neat new things.
Of course, everything that I really wanted to take a look at is still "coming soon".

...and it turns out all the "coming soon" stuff sucked too. lol
Anyways, the movie's now out. I command all who have read the novels to go immediately and see it.
Everyone else must either read the novels now or die.
The choice is yours.

If you bring a towel, I'm sure you'll find a way to use it to get in.

Throw my towel over their head when they ask for my ticket, and run inside.
Genius!
Time to go to the movies.

went. saw. enjoyed immensely.
it's very funny. it's a lot like the books in some aspects (mostly the lines), but very different in others (the storyline). i guess they had to change it to have it conclude properly, considering it didn't include the last two or three books.

I've got my towel ready!

Going soooooon.
So... what size is your towel?
I'm thinking bringing a beach towel might be going overboard.

lmao, I know. Even our bathtowels are too large (but I like it that way for drying off, just not hitch hiking the galaxy). I found an old clean towel in a basement closet that's the perfect size. About 2'6" by 4'2". Small enough to be worn comfortable around the neck, yet long enough for a good whipping.
And I suppose it would make a sufficient sail for a small raft.
