My friend has cancer. Thyroid cancer to be exact. As long as she takes medicine, she should be fine, so thank God she is okay.

SSSSOOOOOOOOOO much snow.
My friend and I left her house at like 8:30. We decided to come home from town early because it was snowing so much. In three hours, we got over three inches.
I love my little all wheel drive Honda. 150 K miles and that thing still kicks it in the snow
So much fresh powder for my snowboarding joy tomorrow.

and once i burned my forehead curling my hair. it was pretty funny cuz one guy came up to me when he saw it and said "what, did you burn your face using a curling iron?" "yeah..."

i pulled my straightening iron away from my forehead fast enough that it didn't leave a mark, but it still hurt.

Woo hoo.
I'm back from snowboarding, and I'm perfectly intact. No broken bones, nothing.
I only took 5 runs or so,but I figured for my first time right after my ankle surgery I should limit it to an hour anyways.
I only fell once too. Considering I haven't been on my board for 11 months, I'm pretty damn proud of that
On the bad side. It's started. If I didn't think about snowboarding every second before, I will now. It really does hurt my foot though........and till I get that plate out I shouldn't be going at all. Plus, I can't let myself go fast, because speed = higher velocity=more likely breaking. Plus, on my toe-side turns since my ankle is stiff and weaker my board chatters a lot unless I'm going really slow.
Still.............

Wanna know how productive my networking class is?
I'm posting here on the CM after taping my friend to his chair while he played FF3 on an emulator.
Best. Class. Ever.
