My apartment building is running on a generator. (yay for me i guess)
Thank God for cell phones... At least I know Cain is okay. He's in midtown right now and will probably be staying over night at Darren's. So that'll be okay.

power outages... trains are down... looks like madd chaos on the streets. i dont know. im not going anywhere.

just staying home like usual.
im all confused that bloomberg would tell people that if they're offered a ride by a stranger, that it's probably just some nice new yorker and he'd do it. what the hell!??! i wouldnt! people are scary!

the power outage wasn't really bad. i stayed over at my aunt's condo. her building was running on a generator, which meant elevator. ha! and her condo's right by the lake, so i had fresh air. nice...

ya a couple towns in Niagara weren't even affected because of the Welland Canal. I guess the St Lawrence Seaway has their own power source and it supplies some parts of the region. It really wasn't that bad though. Considering at first they figured it could be a week, it only lasted 4 hours here and everything went right back to normal.
