why do atheists celebrate christmas... because most atheists just like the title.

Wow, way to say things that make no sense.
People who are atheists don't believe there is a God. What does that have to do with a title?
Atheists celebrate Christmas as a celebration of love and generosity. It has (for Atheists) nothing to do with Christ. This just happens to be a really good time to give and share and whatnot since most others are doing it now too.

my very best friend just came over and gave me my christmas present.
inside the bag contained:
the doors' "l.a. woman"
a scrapbook with a bunch of pictures + memories to remember the good times.
to say the least, i cried and cried. it was the best present i've ever gotten.

i love my friends.

That sounds like the most sincere gift I've ever heard of.

today at work, some customer saw my industrial and gave me some long lecture about self mutilation and how "special" life is. i think he was some sort of teen counsellor. i just smiled and nodded. if his friend wasn't buying $200 worth of merchandise, i would have told him off.

I got my present. It is a Brazilian ivory thunderbird, about the height of an American quarter, that my uncle brought back from his mission in about 1975 or so for my grandma. My mom took it after she died and had it made into a necklace for me. So pretty. But it kinda looks like a cross....
