QFT. I hate that with a passion.

I had a friend of my mother's (who knows I'm a OLP fan) ask me about AYDWSML the other day... she told me she was SURE it was a Christian song, due to all the coincidental lyrics about what appear to be Christian references ("All you did was save my life, I'm not dying, pulled me out of that black light") I wanted to make her listen to the Thief lyric "I don't wanna hear who walked on water" :P

Oops my bad. I think she must mave mistaken the lyrics but I didn't notice. But there are some other lyrics too ("I owe every breath to you, heart and SOUL unparalyed")... it really is ambiguous as to whether the lyrics refer to a lover or God

 Totally forgot that one... yeah, that song combined with their name has made a lot of people who don't know them think they're a Xian rock band.

Sweet. Nice performance.

Speaking of Youtube, I stumbled across this video again (Let You down live 1999) and almost got a hardon:

Damn, I hope Raine channels at least half this much fucking awesomeness for Let You Down in the tour!!!! :D

I want the whole band to be more crazy on stage more than anything. That's the kind of shit that got me pumped when I saw them, but they didn't do a whole lot. Watching Duncan jump made me excited that they're getting pumped on stage again. I want to see Birdman Raine too.

This is a long shot, but I'd piss myself if Raine got out his Naveed guitar for this tour.

there are alot of vids up from the zone show.

Also I did not want to go here but WTF is up with people getting on Raine's vocals. He is not goingto sound the way he did 10-15 years ago.. It seemed every Youtube video said the same thing.. Honeslty I do not notice one way or other. ..

I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again

It's in the water lately I guess.

I hate HATE it when they say he sounds horrible or whatever. Sure he sounds different, but he still sounds great. So I always feel the need to call someone out on youtube about that.

It's not that he sounds bad, it's just that sometimes he sings quite a bit off key, and he obviously is capable of singing better than that. I mean take this 2009 performance of Not Enough... clearly he's singing off key at some points and just sounds very sick-sounding and isn't reaching easy notes... he's definitely better capable than this:
