I was working pit-out during this part of the race.

I called in the contact when they left (And the fact they almost ran over the ALMS official upon) the pits.
Then I called in when they both showed up in then pentaly box right in front of me.
I then called in the contact between them again when they both left the penalty box at the same time.

This is me in the start stand holding the double yellows and giving the point to oncomming traffic since a pair of cars got together on the front straight.

Me again in the start stand during the IRL race. I didn't do much aside from call Milka Duno for blocking.

i wax my face.

also, i used to want to be a race car driver.
until i realized how fast they went.
oh, and i'm terrified of driving now and avoid it at all costs.

i don't think i'd be able to.
i'd probably bruise really bad.

When there is contact between cars, it get reported to race officials. Especially on pit road.

Double yellows mean a full course caution. Line up behind the pace car and be aware of saftey equipment entering the track.

Blocking means Milka Duno is a slow driver and not giving way to faster traffic. (The racing equivalent of camping out in the left lane) This can also lead to unsafe conditions and needs to be reported to race officials.

You can have almost as much fun having cars whiz by you @ 120+ mph 10 feet from where your standing, as you can driving the car yourself @ 120+ mph.

What's not fun is comming down the backstraight at 150 mph only to have your brakes fail:

I hope for your sake and sanity, you never have to!!! You probably wouldn't bruise, but holy god is it not fun, not to mention messy. Stupid wax is ridiculously sticky.

i used to wax my face, until i developed a sensitivity to it. now i thread, and it's 10 times better. i do prefer waxing to shaving on legs and arms though.
