I wasn't! Not only did we not lose power, but we had a Nam visiting.

that day was great

me and fras sat on our porch and drank beer and had some weed with the neighbour cause we had nothing else to do

That day I came home from my OLP roadtrip and I was studying for my accounting final, praying to God that something would happen so I wouldn't have to go that day. And ten minutes, later- poof! the power's out.

I can relate to the last one. In reverse though. People who say they will make something for you, or send something to you but don't. I am still waiting for a Chantal CD from OCT that someone promised to make me. I don't even ask anymore. It is funny though cause every once in awhile i get a email saying they got new stuff to put on and haven't forgot me.

I don't go to the Metro Much. I more or less browse it. I will tell you this though. All Message Boards are like that. You will always have the fights, arguments, people not liking one another, clicks etc. Even on here. That is just the way it is.
At least you have your MG shows coming up. That should cheer you up. Seeing Matt is always fun. I hope the NY rumours are true.
*waites patiently for confirmation of NY state shows*

Going to a shop to buy something you saw there a few days before and finding that because they have a sale on they have absolutely no normal stuff there any more and won't for the next 2 weeks so you can't buy the nice shoes you wanted

UGH! I second that one. Sort of. The skirt I saw at a store and loooooooooved (but didn't have money for) was gone when I went back like a month later.

 It was pretty.

People who say to meet somewhere at '4:45 at the latest' so you go to the bar at 4:40 and it doesn't even open until 5 and the people you're meeting doesn't turn up until 5 either

People who say they'll come along to something and then don't turn up. We had a table booked for 15 last night and only 8 people turned up. And none of the people who didn't turn up actually bothered to let anyone know they wouldn't be coming.
