Yeah... I'm having trouble putting my right and obtuse angles to sleep right now. The acutes were pretty tired though.

No. New releases are "street dated", meaning they cannot be sold to anyone until after 12am of said date. Because all our sales are electronically tracked, it would be very easy to tell if any store violates that date, and there are usually stiff penalties for it, although I don't know what they are.

penalty = you get beaten to a bloody pulp by robits

My people wouldn't beat him!

Well ... maybe a little.

they already informed me via the "internet" that they shall take the beating to a new level
go fuck yourself.

i listened to the album premiere on Y108 in hamilton last nite and found and interesting fact from the interview with the band:

-where are you was the absolute last song recorded for the album
-apology was one of the first recorded, and it was done "live of the floor", which i found pretty amazing
Is there something good, something more?
Is there anything worth dying for?

So, my local cd store apparently puts out new releases on Mondays rather than Tuesdays...so I now have a copy of the cd in hand. I'm gonna go listen :)

So, I just listened to the new cd, sitting alone in my room in my chair with my eyes closed listening to it through my headphones, and wow. I just have to say this:

I love this cd.

A/L/S, WTSOYF, L&T, Boy, Apology, and WIC are all just...incredible. I love the guitar stuff in these songs. I didn't like WOAS in the clips but I love the full version. WAY has really grown on me. And whoever described Al Genina as "haunting" is so damn right...I really really really wish it were longer than 2 min...wow.

Nice job, OLP.

Sorry for the double post, but the fact that we can't put the cd on itunes really really makes me not happy. I'll have to download the leaked versions from people at some point, cuz i want this on my ipod.

Columbia Records is now protecting their cds. So you can only rip them to your computer in wma format, and they're protected in a way that my music converter program isn't allowed to convert them. And you can only make limited copies. I'm highly annoyed. The cd won't even open if you have itunes running. Ripoff.
