I won't say this is annoying. It is more of a inconvience.

It was very humid and hot yesterday. It is bad enough I don't have airconditoning, but at least I have an oscaliting fan.

I had one of those days at work. Long and tedious. The trains were running with delays due to breakdowns and stalled trains. I just wanted to get home, eat dinner and relax by watching some TV or listening to the Music Stations. When I got home my neighbors were sitting on the front porch. They informed me we were without power since early morning. A truck hit a pole and knocked out a transfomer. My block, and the block behind us and next to us had no power.  .

We didn't get it back till 2:15am this morning. It felt like August 14th 2003, all over again. To make matters worse, the power coming on woke me up after finally falling asleep(the trucks were still in area repairing the lines). I didn't fall back asleep till after 4AM, only to wake up at 7. I am so tried now. Plus it is another humid day.

It sucked cause not only did I come home to pitch black apartment, but it hot and humid. I couldn't do anything. Every other night the kids from the other building next to us have their steros in their cars blasting. The one night you wish someone would have the car stero on, they aren't around.

Plus trying taking a shower in complete darkness, or with little light form a candle or flashlight.

do you have pets. If so get them flea baths and get advatage. It goes along their spines and last 30 days. there is also some kind of speical spray to use to clean furniture. They can nest for years.

I had these marks on my legs. I thought they were a rash or allergic reaction to something. When I got a pedicur, my nail lady ssaid they were fleal bites. I was disgusted. My cats are indoor cats and I don't have a dog. I took them to the vet and sure enough they were loaded with fleas. I had to give them all flea baths and get advantage. I couldn't understand where they got fleas from> The vet said they can lay dormant for years. I use to have a dog. I put her to sleep in 1999. He also said that there are people who live in high rises that get fleas on their cats.

I did have work done in my bathroom last year. The whole building did. It took months. With the workers leaving the door open and not really being clean. I think that is how the fleas got in. Thank God I don't have that problem with the cats anymore.

I forgot you had all the kittens. It is worse for them cause flea bites can kill them.

I tell you those things can jump. Bad enough you get a roach or a mouse, but fleas are the worse. They are so tiny you can't even see them. Good luck with the problem.

Like I said I thank God after the flea baths everything was okay. The Vet told me that the advantage kill them also cause they have no where to jump. They don't like Humans cause we don't ahve the hair that is why I had the bite marks. The things we go through for an animal.
