Girl: Does he see me? Does he even know that I'm close by?
Guy: We're in the hallway, always at half past nine.
Girl: Would he ever get to know me? Would he take the time?

My cousin did that back in the day, it got infected and she had to take it out.

I'm used to the dark screen, X-Files was way worse.

I'm getting pink again on Thursday!

I don't think it has an 18-hour battery life. Maybe if it was idle, but playing and spinning the HD inside it, it's definately less than that.

My sister pierced her own bellybutton a few times last year. She was stretching her arms or something and her shirt came up and I saw a little scab.

"You tried to pierce your own bellybutton again?"
"Um, no. Yes. No."

Geez, 13-year olds! I can understand, though- the piercing place by my parents' won't pierce anything if you're under 16.

I thought the I-Pod's battery life was mroe like 8 hours...?

cnet.com wrote:Apple claims the internal lithium-ion battery will last 8 hours, but that's with the button backlighting and the EQ turned off and the volume limited to 50 percent. With heavy use, involving lots of backlighting and On The Go playlist creation, our test unit lasted about 6 hours. However, Apple has solved the old iPod's battery problem (the life of the nonreplaceable battery dropped to 1 to 3 hours after about a year of use) with an included firmware upgrade. The battery charges in about 2 hours, 40 minutes, with or without the cradle, from a FireWire port or the square, white AC wall adapter that comes with the iPod.
