I don't feel so bad now...
I'm thinking I need a new video card, more memory and a new processor.
considering i have very little hard drive space (and therefore very little virtual memory and crap) i thought my comp did fairly well considering the age and all
and considering my processors's a P3 500
i need to get upto 512 or so megs of ram.. preferably 1 gig
and obviously a GEforce 2 isnt the greatest.. but it gets the job done for most older stuff that i play
the newest game ive played is gunbound
the only game im lookin to playing is "frozen throne" and like.. whatever new hockey games they come out with and crap.. but im bogged down with school work and crap so i dont have time anyways

Sign up for separate accounts.
Run one account on each computer.

I overlooked that slight detail.
Even with XP, you'd have to switch profiles each time. If you run too many concurrent applications, then it'll slow up you PC pretty badly.

very true
but just running the net + just GB on different profiles should technically work
altho it'd be slow like you said.. just keep everything else closed basically

I just found out that for Christmas, I'm getting some upgrades done on the computer! Even better, it's being done THIS WEEK because our computer guy is going off on holidays next week!
Here's what I'm getting:
- My 512MB SDRAM is being changed to 512MB DDR
- A new processor. My dad wrote down "2500 Mg". Don't know any details
-
Radeon 9200 graphics card.

Replacing my GeForce4 MX440
So, now I need some new, fun, demanding PC games. Any suggestions?

Demanding PC games you say? Halo, Max Payne 2, and Deus Ex: Invisible War are about as demanding as you can get as of now.

I might check out Deus Ex. The first one was good...
