Reason why it should be changed back.

Last summer when we started all these threads, we decided on the Pookie Brigade. This idea is over a year old. Why should we change it now? You didn't start the thread, and therefore, shouldn't have the ability or authority to change the name. Just because you recently got mod powers does not mean you have the right to go around and change the name of this thread.

Last summer when I went around the US to see OLP play, I called Jeremy "Pookie" and tried to put a nametag on him. The only reason I tried to do that was for the name of the thread. It was all fun, good times were had. Jeremy and I had a good laugh about it. Somehow, I wound up wearing the nametag and it was funny. But face it, you have no right to change this thread. Don't kill the fun and memories.

I suppose I never bought into the whole club thing. I had some sort of "office" when this thread started, but I never joined a club on here because I never saw a point to it. Oh well.

Sorry guys but change it back to the Pookie Brigade. As Alan mentioned there is a history behind the name, and there's a reason why we called it that. There's no need to suddenly change it to match the rest of the "clubs". If anything this one and the Mazurites clubs should never be touched as they were built as spur of the moment threads.

Go change your Coutts and Maida ones. Those were built only because someone felt itwas unfait they didn't have a club. They don't have a story or anything behind them.

Nikki is the president now. I've stepped down because I haven't been doing anything about it, aside from letting new members in.

I think the name should stay as it was. Besides, the rhyming name thing drives me up the wall. It's so... Common.

I don't want it changed. There was a reason we called it the Pookie Brigade. And it looks like no one else buy you and Kingston Rob want it changed.

I liked the "Pookie Brigade" better. I have to agree with Alan (as always...sheesh

): you (Nikki) didn't start the club, and therefore the name should only be changed by Susan, who I assume started the club. As I've been told, the previous club name had a story behind it. What's the point in changing it anyways?

*sigh* Susan nominated me president, and I accepted. I was thinking about changing it, then Rob suggested I do, and that made up my mind.

If you guys really care that much, why is it that none of you have posted in this thread for so long? Other than Yannic, anyway.

Another reason it was changed is because a lot of people have no idea that it's Jer's club.

Anyway, all that being said, if you all really care so much, I'll change it back. But I don't know when I'll get around to it, cos I'm gonna be quite busy for the next week or so.

BTW, I haven't posted in here because I usually have nothing interesting to say.
