Simpsons - New Season

Well, the new ToH sucked ass. Took the first directly from Stephen King (they've done that before, but at least the others were funny). And the other two were just crap.

Probably two or three funny parts over all.

Which sucks, because sometimes ToH have some of the BEST moments of the season.

"Implied, or implode?"

Just one example, but I remember watching them when they were played before Halloween, and realizing how awesome they were.

Yeah this one SUCKED. Seriously. The Flanders one was the best IMO, and it wasn't even all that funny. The best part was Marge's revealing clothes... and that's not even good at all.

And they did the, "OHMIGODWE'RETOTALLYSCIFIANDGOINGONAFANTASTICVOYAGERIPOFFINTOSOMEONE'SBODYINATINYSHIPVIASHRINKRAY" plot.

Which is so hackneyed it's unforgiveable.

I laughed at parts, but as a whole, yeah. Not even close to par with the others. :neutral:

Though, I'm pretty sure the Flanders one is more enjoyable if you watch The Dead Zone (which I do... when I remember it's on... awesome show).

The end was pretty funny, I thought. And at the VERY end, Maggie was dancing with a white blood cell! :lol:

yep, he wrote the monorail episode, and some others but his best one is the monorail one.

That fall O'Brien signed on as a writer and producer for the Fox series The Simpsons, where he also became a supervising producer. In a speech he gave at Harvard on Class Day in 2000, O'Brien credited The Simpsons with "saving" him, a reference to the career slump he was experiencing prior to his hiring for that show. Of the episodes he wrote while there, he considers "Marge vs. the Monorail" to be his favorite.
