But I think if you want to get that full-on classic green day flavour, there's nowhere better to start than dookie-insomniac-nimrod era.

That's cos it was a rarities/b-sides/other stuff album.

And, "Ha Ha You're Dead" is one of my absolute favorite Green Day songs.

Out of the Green Day CDs I have (Kerplunk, Dookie, Insomniac, Nimrod, and Warning - I think that's all the ones I have) I would say without a doubt go for Insomniac first. Then probably Dookie.

Am I the only one who absolutely adores Warning? I've definitely listened to it way more than any of the other albums.

The album is fantastic. This is going to be a classic instantly, just like how "Dookie" was.

I absolutely love Warning. Great album.

Green Day was the first band I ever really liked. I remember bringing Dookie into school in 6th grade and putting it on the CD player and getting in a lot of trouble because...it was not suited for 11-year olds. Ha. But yeah, I definitely love American Idiot. I haven't listened to a new CD of mine like this in a long time. One of my favorite CD's definitely.

I'm going to see them in Rochester on November 5th, with Incubus the next day. Ha, it's going to be the best weekend ever.

But yeah, I love the album, just thought I'd throw in my two cents.

Back to American Idiot....
I wasn't getting into the songs when I listened to them on my computer, but I burned the cd anyways, and the first time I listened to the whole thing through I was in awe. Its not the greatest cd in the world, but its definately something I want in my cd collection. When I get some money I'm gonna buy it.
