I seriously think that Peta's website was only partaining to America, because of what you, and other non-americans have said. If its not in Canada, i'm glad. I wouldnt go to KFC anyways because i'm a vegetarian, but hey...
how many people believe Relgion is needed for people to live moral lives and tyo teach them morals?

I dont think its needed at all. Because by saying that you need religion to have morals, you're saying that Atheists and Non-Religious people are without morals[Which is wrong]. Religion can teach morals, but so can parents, teachers, books and good examples.
yeah i tottally agree but i know a few people on this board have saidthat without religion people wouldn't know how to act to eachother. Which is tottaly wrong. In fact i think many Christian morals contridict the core morals of being a human being

if people are lost without a preacher and don't know how to act then i pity them for the sheep they are. If you question your faith and still believe it then i think that makes a person tottally respectable. Unquestioning blind faith is frustrating, pathetic, and just plain sad. It's a mix of intense disgust and sadness i feel for people like that

um, i don't know if this goes with what you asked, but if i was going to meet someone who i knew was a very religious person and someone who never went to church it would be my instinct to expect the church goer to be a lot more kind, courteous, and gentle hearted. but, i think that's just a stereotype in my head.
Killing:Wrong
Stealing:Wrong
Discrimination:Wrong
Abortion: Usually a bad decision IMO, but not something the government should have any control over.
Gays/Lesbians/Bi-sexuals: Giving them the same rights as everyone else would be Good, if that's what you're referring to. However I couldn't label an individual as "Good" or "Bad" in most cases regardless of sexual preference. Usually a combination regardless.
War: Wrong
Sharing: Right
Government Help: Right
Rich Helping The Poor: Right
Poor Helping The Rich: Right
Taxes: Good
Right to Death: Right
Government Moderation: Right
Gun Laws: Right
Violence to Achieve Goals: Wrong
Words to Achieve Goals: Right
Polygamy: As long as legal age, I would say Good, but I don't necessarily think the gov't should recognize this type of marriage. For example, if an insurance plan covers you and your spouse, that should be 2 people, not 10. But as far as just having the right to be married, I would support it.
Public Healthcare: Good
Public Schools: Good
Stemcell use: Good based on what little I know about it, but I would need some more information to make an informed statement.
Cloning Entire Humans: Wrong
Cloning parts: Good
Designer Babies: Wrong
Alcohol Use: Good in Moderation
Marijuana Use: Good In Moderation ( i don't do it though)
Hard Drug Use: Wrong, but persecuting users isn't the answer
Eating Meat: I couldn't say "Good" or "Bad", I respect either decision. Should be humanely raised, but how can you tell that when you go into a store to buy meat?
Eating Humanely Raised Animals:good
Eating Animal By-products: good

KFC cruelty isn't up for debate .. of course you aren't going to see that done in the restaurant They've been nailed with so many cruelty charges from animal socities it's ridiculous. It's their warehouses and where they keep the chickens that's the problems, not the restaurant itself. They've been in the news countless times because of charges against them and legal issues. They're the main target for animal cruelty .. McDonald's used to be right up there too but McDonald's improved. KFC is too stubborn so just keeps up with all the legal charges. Unfortunately this does go on in Canada as well, it goes on with all KFC companies. Ask to take a trip to the warehouses .. the chickens arrive at the restaurants already dead and ready to be cooked, so of course you aren't going to witness what happened before then. Come on now.
I didn't assume that you meant they were boiled at the restaurant alive. The restaurants in the Niagara Region get their chicken from a poultry farm in Port Colborne. I've been there before and they kill their chickens the same way as you would find the chickens in the grocery store killed. In fact they even supply some of the local grocery stores with their poultry as well.
I'm not saying that this isn't the same all across Canada but I know for a fact that the ones in Niagara don't boil the chickens alive.
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.
"It's a great thing when you realize you still have the ability to surprise yourself. Makes you wonder what else you can do that you've forgotten about"
I didn't witness them being killed but I did see inside the place. I was there to pick up some chicken for our store along with my manager and frankly my manager doesn't give a crap what KFC headquarters thinks. We were allowed to purchase the secret recipe flour thats put on the chicken if we had wanted to do so.

"It's a great thing when you realize you still have the ability to surprise yourself. Makes you wonder what else you can do that you've forgotten about"
Exactly. My point is simply that you have no idea how they're killed so you can't assume it's done in a humane way. Plus you probably have no idea what's done to the chickens beforehand, they aren't allowed to roam happy and free until they're chosen to die. That's all.
And I'm not trying to be a bitch or anything about this. People just don't understand what really goes on before the meat gets to their plate and it's frustating to me.
I've seen what happens [from being educated]. Knowing half of what I know now compelled me to never touch a piece of meat again. Joey i know where you're coming from completely.
I think that lots of people have morals that aren't religious. I think that religion gives alot of people a REASON to be moral besides their own conscience.
