Yes there is. Talking to plants blows Carbon Dioxide in their direction which is obviously needed in photosynthesis. Our last biology lab was based on that concept.
Besides, if no one protested would anyone other then white males have any rights?

A much more fun thing to do it to proptest/fauxtesting.
That's going to a protest and protesting something entirely random. Like going to a lesbian rally and protesting Robosexual rights or something stupid like that.
