well perdita felicien fell over on the first hurdle. that was pretty sad for her. seems like she couldn't handle the pressure on her. and it doesn't help that all these tv stations will keep playing that video over and over again when all she needs is closure...

it sucks for the russian that she dropped. that sucks worse. then she sat in the hurdle and cried....i mean c'mon, you just ruined someone's dream to run in the olimpics, go say my bad or something. i thought that was pretty selfish of her to sit there and pout when she ruined something for someone.

*runs out of thread.*

The men's 1500 meter was pretty exciting. The guy from morrocco finally won a gold by holding off a competitor on the final 100 meters.

But you don't get sandy beaches at lakes. And beach volleyball is all about the sand as far as I know.

Honestly, if I were that Russian girl that was taken out by Felicien, the Canadian girl would have had a few track spikes in her back.

In other words, I would have murdered someone if my lifelong dream was taken from me.

Now what happened EXACTLY?

Perdita stumbled, knocked over one of the hurdles, lost her balance, fell into some russian girl. russian girl got pissed off, perdita just sat there.

when in full stride, any little push can throw you off and even knock you down. when your a world class athlete, that little bit of push can blow you off

I've been to a few of them thank you. And none of them had sand. And all the beaches I've been to in Switzerland didn't have sand either. Just big horrible stones, or mud.
