i didn't bother reading the other pages of this, so i don't know if your problem is fixed, but i saw this on another board and i thought i should put it here:

You may have noticed that your profile on this board, or the profiles of other people, have contained some very suspicious links-- specifically, to various porn sites. You didn't put them there, and we didn't put them there, but they are there anyway. These links appear in the HOMEPAGE field of your profile regardless of what you may, or may not, actually enter in that field.

This is happening because of SOFTWARE ON YOUR COMPUTER. This software is sometimes known as "SPYWARE", "MALWARE", or "ADWARE" and has been installed without your knowledge, approval, or consent by websites or other programs on your computer. You should remove this software immediately because it is a threat to your privacy, your computer, and your reputation both on this board and on EVERY site that you visit! We cannot stress enough how much you need to remove this software. Other things you may have noticed about your computer that means you have SPYWARE/MALWARE installed on your computer:

- Pop-up ads when you are not on a website
- Your start-up homepage changes
- Bookmarks that you do not choose
- Programs about gambling, porn, and so on appear in your start menu/desktop
- Random words highlighted/linked on web pages like this one
- IDENTITY THEFT!

We recommend the following two programs to remove unwanted software from your computer:

SPYBOT (spybot.info)
and
AD-AWARE (lavasoft.de)

You may also wish to start using the MOZILLA FIREFOX web browser instead of Internet Explorer, as it is not susceptible to many of the problems that plague IE.

Thanks!

I got rid of it. Would someone please tell me if they notice I have a porn link anywhere else? I had to go in and delete the link after I got rid of the spyware.
