Anyone else wondering how they do this as a four piece band? Unless Raine is playing the guitar and xzylophone at the same time?

me likes the song. i think he could do it. If raine can masturbate to his wife ina movie... i'm sure he can play guitar and xylophone while singing.

Well, the xylophone wouldn't make it to a live production of it.

Uhh.. wouldn't they just play it as background music like they do for the rest of their songs?

Sand you punk LOL

here I thought you would be happy that I ripped Not Afraid for everyone to hear.... but you got pissy cuz it was in Labatt Blue.... lmao

and remember, I have evidence of you not only DRINKING Blue.... but ENJOYING IT WITH A BIG SMILE!!!!! oh yes! I know... secretly you do like Blue... ;)

anyway I am glad that everyone's giving their feedback... also I'm happy with the attention I've been getting since I shared the song. lol you've all been very nice, thank you :)

I just want to clear up that the other songs Jeremy showed Miro and I don't sound anything like Not Afraid.... I LOVE what the song sounds like now... but the other songs are quite different. But then again they were incredibly raw, so who knows if they'll even make the album. I hope Not Afraid and DOn't Ask Why do.....the band is heading in a new direction.

"Not Afraid" in my opinion is an avearge song. It's a song in which you are going to have to listen to over and over to really get the feel or to like it. The first time I hear it, I was like its ok. The second time it got better and so on and so on. Our Lady Peace did say they want to be new. That's why maybe they are calling themselves "The NEW OLP" (they said that at the Juno awards interview last year). I don't think this song will be on the album but I do think that it 's a sign to get ready and get people to be pumped up for a new album to be release very soon. Which I think will be in middle-end of July. I also, think they want people to think that they are almost ready and want people to know that. I do not think also, this song will be aired a lot on radio. It could be on different types of program that stations do like on 89X 88.7 (Detroit station) the have the People's Choice and Catch Of The Day just like "Not Enough" (Live Version) that was on the People's Choice and it won a lot.

i think you are wrong and that this song will almost definatley be on the CD since there is a studio version and they didnt make it just for a beer cd. And also the CD wont be coming out before September if there has been no announcement.

if you dont like people getting off topic i have a link for you

I remember reading a quote from Raine, where he says that the new single won't be released in a conventional manner....the Labatt thing certainly isnt conventional. does anybody else remember reading this? or has anybody heard of a follow up. maybe this is confirmation that not afraid is going to be the new single from the band...
