Field of Dreams. It's about an Iowa farmer named Ray Kinsella who hears a voice one day telling him to build a baseball diamond on his cornfield. It can be a tearjerker at the end, but it has some great laughs in it as well. The whole scene at Terence Mann's apartment is
hilarious.
LotR, of course.
The French Connection. Gene Hackman plays a NYC narcotics detective investigating a case with ties to France. Best car chase EVER.
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Butch and Kid are train/bank robbers who are running from the law and decide to escape to Bolivia. The whole robbery scene with the two attempting to speak Spanish is so funny.

Definitely have to say The Shawshank Redemption is one of the best movies ever. Also Forrest Gump, Saving Private Ryan, Pulp Fiction, and Monty Python and the Holy Grail, are among my most favoritest movies.

American Beauty, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (I urge you all to boycott the remake) and Magnolia are my faves.
