I have stomach cancer... which goes back and forth between almost getting better and getting much worse. I guess right now it's pretty bad. They are treating it with these sucky pills that make me puke and give me ulcers in my stomach.

I am anti-western medicine when it comes to cancer. My grandma had an advanced form of breast cancer and they gave her a few weeks to live. My grandpa sought out the help of some people who know a lot about natural remedies and when my grandma went in for a check up a year and a half later, the doctor said, "I thought you'd be dead by now."

Did it cure her or just prolong her life?

I haven't had Coke in three days! Yay! Minus the splitting headache...I feel great.

hmm... my health...

well i'm a life-long vegetarian (that's right, not a bite of meat ever in my life), and, without really trying, i tend to eat fairly healthy things since that's what i like. as for exercise, i went to the mcgill gym this year when i had time, aka. when it wasn't midterm or finals time. and i started running a bit in maine. so basically i just do what's convenient as far as that goes.

and somehow, it baffles me even now, i managed to survive the montreal winter catching only one cold the entire time. so i guess i'm a fairly healthy gal, though i don't really try to put a special emphasis on "health" in my life.

if you get the veggie subs, yes.

but is it good food?

definitely not. the tomatoes are always green and the lettuce is always brown and wilty.

Well... it turned out that she wanted to die in the end. She told my grandpa that she didn't want to see 70 and stopped doing everything. Within a month and a half we were at her funeral. I think if she had continued what she had been doing, she would still be around. She had been growing new healthy cells for quite some time.

It happened over a year and a half ago so it's not an open wound anymore.

I need to try Mr. Sub. I don't get across the border often enough. I know there's one in Royal Oak though.
