I wanted to see Sam at St. Andrews Hall in Detroit last night, but alas, it sold out before I could get tickets :-( . He did a free show though at the Hard Rock Cafe beforehand and a friend and I went and he was amazing! The crowd (of like 200, damn) went crazy obviously when he played Detroit '67. It was a really good set, even though it was only 6 songs 
I got some pretty awesome pictures out of it, here's one (sorry for the gigantic-ness):

I heard Sam Roberts for the first time yesterday morning on EQX, the only "indie" station around here. Good stuff.
