i think of it as this. if my favorite band (AFI) did a duet with what i think is the equivalent of Avril (let's say, Britney Spears, in my opinion neither can sing at all.) i'm going purely on talent here, i would lose respect for them. would i be a little pissed? yes, am i allowed to be pissed? yes. am i allowed to tell people on a message board i'm pissed? yes.
