Heh, I've heard that one.... the answer is really dumb.

Anyways:

You are the driver of a bus that has 23 people on it.
At the first stop, 5 people get on and 8 people get off.
At the next stop, 11 people get off, and 7 more get on.
Next, half the passengers get off and 13 more people get on.
Later, 4 more people get off, and 9 more get on.
At the last stop, a third of the passengers get off and 1 more gets on.
What is the name of the busdriver?

you said it is a room with "no doors" meaning there aren't multiple doors. so does that mean there is a possibilty of "a door". if so, get out using that.

see, i told you i had a stupid answer.

You're in a room with three light switches... two of them do nothing, one of them lights up a bulb in another room that you cant see from where you are. Using the switches, you have to find out which one turns on the light, but are only able to check on it in the other room once. how do you do it?

i should add that all three switches are originally in the off position

One I heard in 7th Grade:

You went hiking, all by yourself with only a few things... basics, like matches, a granola bar or 2, and a compass - but you forgot to bring the flashlight.
Somehow, you find a house in the middle of a forest, but apparantly, it's been abandoned. It's starting to get dark, so you just go inside.
After a thorough search of the house, there's only 2 things you find - a fireplace with wood, and a gas stove, which you can see is off. The rest of the house is entirely empty.

What do you light first?

oh I know the light switch one.
sort of...

I think you turn one on for a while so the bulb will get hot.
Then you turn it off and turn another switch on and check the room.
If the bulb is hot but off then it was the first switch you checked, if its on then its the second and if its isnt on and it isnt hot then its the third

Yeah, I suppose it's not the most satisfying answer but it sounds kinda cool. :P It's basically impossible to come up with on your own since the answer is sort of a riddle too.
Anyways, here we are:

"you look in the mirror, you see what you saw, you take the saw, cut the table in half, two halves make a whole (hole), and you climb through the hole and get out"

You need a screwdriver, a wire clipper and a voltmeter. You unscrew the screws in the light panal exposing the under side. keep the screws so you can screw the panal back on. cuting the plastic wire, but not the wire itself, you test the voltage of each of the power/ground wires. you find the one with voltage and tat's the one that works. After smiling, you slide the plastic back together making sure they don't short out. then you screw the panel back on and replace the screws.

was I close?
