it'd be spiffy to see you there, but God knows
that's pretty bloody unlikely.

I'll be wearing bright orange pants with a black 7 on the back pocket, and a white longsleeved Atari shirt. Black specs or sunglasses.
Odds are we'd never spot each other if we tried. It'll be busy.

The shirt will be pretty unique. I don't expect many geeks will be wandering around.

there's three articles about the concert in the Sunday Star today, and apparently there's not only a real good chance Bono will make a cameo, but
Paul freaking McCartney too.
There's a couple of others rumoured to be set to make appearances, but none as huge as those two. Christina Aguilera, Joe Cocker, Roxy Music, and Chicago are rumoured as well, since they're all nearby for their own respective shows. I really don't know how reliable this info is, but the organizers are alluding to some big stuff going down without being officially announced, "I think we're going to hear... some nice surprises" is a quote in one of the articles by Riley O'Connor of the House of Blues, the company promoting the concert.
but... Bono and Paul "Jesus Christ" McCartney? sweet merciful crap.

I hope Timberlake and Aguilera get stuff thrown at them, and get booed off the stage. This is not a venue that they should even think about going to. This is an all-out ROCK concert.

That was an idea that crossed my mind, and I hope that I can act out. Imagine how great it would be to see him singing one of his singles and then a bottle hits him in the face. If he stormed off stage, that would be great too.
