Finally got "Live"! Me and my friend went to HMV and my friend had no money so I bought her a copy considering the happy mood I was in. :) The cashier would not stop raving about the CD. She said that most live albums aren't well done but this one's really good and that it sounds like it was done in a studio. Also, you can actually hear the audience. I tried to tell her that me and my friend went to that concert (Edmonton) but she just kept going on and on!

I love this CD...I haven't listened to all of it yet but it sounds awesome so far! I love the way "Life" was done and the instrumentals are almost studio-quality. The audience is actually audible! Love the sing-a-longs! I wasn't really into the idea of a live album at first but listening to "Live" changes my mind!
And if I don't make it known that
I've loved you all along
Just like sunny days that
We ignore because
We're all dumb and jaded
And I hope to God I figure out
What's wrong

I just bought it. Had to wait until after work.

I put the sticker in the corner of my Gravity poster. :)

EEK! I didn't actually PURCHASE it, but i did listen to the whole thing. I biked for about 40 minutes with my friend in some pretty damn hot Canadian weather. But unfortuantely I'm poor and can't afford such wonderful things as CD's right now... I'll live.. I've heard it.. I'll hear it again.. I'll just listen to the other 5 OLP CD's I have... *drool*

Peace out,

i am in love with naveed/life......
you have to, you just have to trust me
whoever i was then i can't ever be again
the faith you've found i've never felt
the terror held in wedding bells
the comfort in "there's no one else"
the truth be told, i'm never going to know

I didn't feel the energy of the songs though really... It just didn't have the same feel as bootlegs. Don't get me wrong, it's great but it didn't feel like I was listening to them Live sometimes.

Maybe I just expect too much

Yes, you do.

It just doesn't feel live at times because it was mixed to be more audible. You're used to low quality bootlegs that sound like crap, so that's what sounds "live" to you.

I agree. The Birdman is one of my favs. Remember that cool guitar solo they added for Steve at the concert? THAT was amazing. I hope they put it on the Live DVD.

Hmmm, I know this is much, but I was kinda hoping for a hidden track.

But obviously with the CD length, it's not possible.

Maybe "Birdman" will be a DL on the Enhanced website?
