I agree that sad feelings only make the good ones that much better. Personally, I'd rather feel sad than nothing at all.
Val, good luck with the whole court case thing. That's so terrible.

As if my week could SUCK more...
Last night I found out my boyfriend was at his exgirlfriends house...
Then today my friend told me he saw him kiss her two weeks ago.
I hate men. I hate them all.

So, let me get this straight, your "boyfriend" asked you out, when he already had a girlfriend.
I'm having trouble with this...He....does this happen often in the world?
I mean...that is so...stupid. I am flabbergasted.

Apparently it does happen. It happens to trusting girls like me who assume the guy who is asking you out doesn't currently have another girlfriend. Yeah, everytime he stood me up....guess what he was doing? RACHEL! He shall be stoned....Afghani-style.

I can’t avoid thinking that this is going to be the shittiest birthday I have ever had.
Not only am I sick, with a headache, stomach ache and cold, but my mom is worse of then myself. She is in serious pains because of the recently acquired gull bladder (sp?) stones the doctors have found in her stomach. I can’t even talk to her anymore without out conversation turning into match, with unkind words thrown out there from both of us. I can’t help but feel responsible for the strain put on our relationship and the wrecked condition it has succumb to.
I feel like I am letting my depressive moods take over my life … in terms of my school work (I’m slacking ... I feel no will to want to succeed anymore), my relationships (I feel distant and cold toward people lately) and my social life (which has turned itself merely into drinking frenzies to drown out my tribulations). I feel like I have no one there for me, and like I have so much to say and no one to talk to.
*sigh*

Minus the drinking frenzies, that's how I've been feeling for the past few months. My LJ has seen a lot of venting and novel like entries. It honestly helps though .. don't know if you think that would help or not though.
I'm sorry your birthday is turning out shitty
