do you know how the Raza Unida Movement started?
This whole mess that made world wide news started over a cheerleader position at Crystal City High School.
the truth is you have no real grounds for hating democracy, you can't find a place to stand. All you need is a place to stand and a stick, and you can move the world.

that's because you radicals are fighting yourselves. if you just found something you all agreed upon (find a good place to stand) and you all fought for a common issue (the stick) you'll open eyes. but your comrades don't believe in the Majority, even if it's you yourself that is the majority. they don't think the majority can be beaten. hell, you don't even need a majority, all you need to do is cut into the majority's voter base and they'll realize in order to get their votes back they better agree with you on a few things.

actually True communism does work, but it's immposible for the human being to live up to the needed morals to live in true communism, people always get Russian comunism and true communism mixed up, Russian comunism IS evil, te other is good. It's just imposible for it to work on a large scale, i personally know 5 people that grew up on a "Hutterite" colony, i know most of you don't know what a hutterite colony is because it's a small sect of the protestant religon, and now only exists in Manitoba and North Dakota. But it's a group of people that all live on a colony, and all work is dived, there is almost no personal possesion, they even have a colony bank account. Even this isn't true communism but it manages to stay together because they happen to be a religous sect, which cuts out much of the power and greed. you might have learned about them because they were one of the pasifist groups during ww2.

under "perfect" communism force would not be needed because people would volentarly share wealth and people would divde everything fairly, of course, Russia did not do this, because greed and power are always a factor. In the large scale communism does not work, but that also had many outside factors, and that comes into the real worl not on paper category. As for working on small scale, ask any farmer in this area what they think of the Hutterite's, they are generaly hated because they have such high productivity, the local farmers cannot compete with the hutterite and are being put out of business, hutterites commonly have very very nice vehicles and were the only ones at the enviromental studies meetiung with laptops

why argue something that is never going to happen? The govt will never cease to exist, it's not possible. The only way it is possible is for an island to pop up out of no where and all anarchists move there, thats the only way, and thats almost certainly unlikely. By not voting you are putting people in power who should not be in such a position because the unintelligent citizens will always vote, and they'll vote for the person they have more in common with.
I understand your argument and it does make sense on some levels but it will never be realistic. It's like fighting for world peace, as no matter where you are in the world someone will not be at peace.
Also can you honestly say that of all the parties that can be voted into power there is not one with the same ideals as you? I find that hard to believe. To say that you're the only person with these wants and needs is pretty spectacular, and I think we're all witnessing something special and should cherish every prophetic word you say.

exactly what i was trying to say.....untill i got side tracked into defending marxism, not that i'm marxist, i just hate how people think of it, esspecially anarchists, both of them are just as immposible in the real world, because both need alot of perfect human morals

Yes. there are no political parties who would abolish taxes, the rule of law and the use of force and instead focus on reason and equality.
i am not the only person with these beliefs. i am one of a growing minority. but to suggest that somebody form an "anarchist party of canada" shows absolute ignorance of what it is to be an anarchist.

clumsyboy, i used to be a marxist. i have read the manifesto and 2 out of 3 volumes of das kapital.
i know what communism is. i know that russia, china, and cuba are not/were not communist nations as marx envisioned them.
wrong. the command economy always requires force. communism, even according to marx, used a command economy. marx's communism envisioned a world without government or currency. all economic descions were to be made by economic planners and then producers were told what to make. force would be neccessary to maintain that these producers did what they were told.
furthermore, even marxists would not tolerate capitalist uprisings. since all communism is inherently irrational, force would be required to keep people in line.
thirdly, marx called for a brief "dictatorship of the proletariat" in which capitalists would be killed or otherwise eliminated and their property looted and distributed amongst the workers.
economically, marx's system was also vitally flawed. as the system was one based on communal distribution of goods, there was no currency system. the problem with this is, of course, that all economic information is transferred from producer to consumer by trades of currency for goods. without this vital information transfer, shortages and surpluses occur, not to mention a plethora of other problems. for example, consumers know that steel is higher quality of material then aluminum because of it's price.

and without many of the same perfect human qualities that communism needs neither would anarchism, so we both are arguing over wich lost cause is a better one. As for not working it does work with groups of 1000 people or less. As long as there is some underlying morals, or beliefs or right and wrong, such as my hutterite colony example, i know it's hard for me to explain this though because i forget that here in Western Manitoba EVERYONE knows what the hutterites are, but largely everywhere else doesn't, in fact here they are so well known they are a running joke because they use large "hutterite" vans, and frequent many garage sales.

A growing minority eh? the only reason anarchy is growing is because of the punk movement and most of these people aren't even of age to vote yet. If you don't like the system than do something about it. Run for office and change things from the inside until we have massive change. You should probably get started in PEI or the Yukon thanks to the small population since the less amount of people within the province the easier it will be for your growing minority to become a majority. eck move all you anarchists out somewhere where you can become the majority and take over, then again it would be kinda hypocritical to abolish the government since the minority would still believe in it.

true i agree that it is hypocritical and a oxymoron to have a anarchist party, but it could be used to get your anarchy if ever they won, much the same as the bloc party, who exists in canadian politics so they may leave canada. I understand the beauty of true anarchy but it is no more likely then true communism appearing, there for i choose the lesser of evils in my mind. the party that will benefit whati see as good the most, whether they are "tyrants" "dictators". Because as you said, in your head they all are, so pick the best one........you know you could always move to antartica and set up a anarchist colony. Or find a millionaire anarchist to buy you an island

EXACTLY.....GOOD GOD I THINK YOU GOT IT NOW! Start a party and use Democracy......to get your Anarchist views out in the open. It sounds like your contradicting yourself but you know what, your views are going to threaten someone and that someone is going to have to meat you 1/2 way somewhere. (and by threaten i mean your taking their votes away from them and your denying them their majority) you get some of the things you need, and maybe, just maybe, you can later overthrow and over power.
Play the game....don't just sit on your ass and do nothing.
