  Matt could care less about the US.
He doesn't want to be some big household name there. I'm sure he's quite satisfied with his status in Canada at the moment, and the US just isn't open to the type of music he makes

If he puts out any song besides Weapon in the states, he'll be flamed. Most the the lyrics are pretty political according to my interpretation.

Weapon kicks ass, he could get big with that in the states

sweet cd, actually amzing, only a few complaints, More Bass, Less Focus on matt's vocals( i know how much better he's become but we don't need it to be proven) and also maybe a few faster or just plain rockish songs like BM and Underdogs had, all i n all though amazing piece of work, a true example as music as an artform (although as i stated before could have used some catchy rock songs) and has anyone noticed his Lyrics getting better and better? although i think Matt's always been more of a poet then Lyricist, even better on paper then to music

Almost every single song on this cd is long compared to previous work ( IE BM). Most of them boarder on 6 minutes, and a few are in the 8 min range. I think thats super.

if anyone REALLY wants avalanche, and only one or two songs off of it, i will rip two or three songs (full for you)...just e-mail me or PM me or something...

cheers.

but please buy the CD as this is a five star CD (though it's too political for the grammies)

i had someone rip it for me.

only because i pre-ordered through hmv.com and i have to wait ten or so FUCKING more days for it.

but i'm happy now anyway! :D it's amazing.

if Jesus came down from heaven and used all of his Godly powers to make a record, it would be about 1/8th as good as Avalanche.

hahaha i agree.

I'm absolutely clueless about this dude, or his music for that matter. in fact i didn't know who he was until the cm. can you guys recomend some listening music, nothing from the new cd yet, but like older stuff that will convert me into a MGB listening mo-fo.
