Nick Carter's solo album opened at #17 on the Billboard charts. For those of you who cannot count, that is 8 spots lower then Our Lady Peace's fifth album, "Gravity".

think of it what you will. i personally found it funny.

he is feeding off his backsteet boy popularity from back in the day. apparently, people still buy shit like this.

He was a solo actor/singer before even meeting up with the other guys and starting BSB with them .. he's feeding off his own talent .. shit or not, he has a great voice and it's not fair to judge him now based on what he did with the BSB's

he's just doing the same thing as Justin Timberlake. trying to go a different way musically, either trying to jump into the rap or rock scene, and thinking that they have a new edge and sound, but really, they sound the same.

The only thing he's doing different is just branching out on his own .. he's talked about going solo for awhile .. on the Millennium album he had a solo song there as well. I wouldn't say he's trying to be 'rock' or 'rap' .. but just do his own thing .. nothing wrong with that .. until people start labelling him that is

he said on Much Music, that he always had a 'rock' core, so that was what he was pursuing with this new thing he's doing.

Why not Aaron? He played Shaq in basketball ya know. And he sure can cut a rug with the best of him. And he even sang about how he threw a crazy party at his house where apple juice was spilled on his rug!
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.
