yeah, that's something that always irked me about Christianity. they're always telling you you're going to hell, but they completely support incarcerated murders who claim to be born-again. blah.

as for me, being Pagan, it's put me in some awkward spots before. my friend Tiffany and her husband Jason had a baby a couple of years ago and they asked me to be the godmother. I'm sure it was just their way of saying "you're one of our best friends and we love you." but I've told Tiff many times that I'm Pagan. a godparent is responsible for the religious teachings of a child, and I KNOW Tiff wouldn't want me teaching her little girl... well... pretty much anything. Tiff and I have been the best of friends since early high school, but we really don't have much in common. she's Christian, listens to country music, thinks anyone with body piercing or tattoos are weird, etc. she was really disappointed and hurt when I told her I couldn't be Jocelyn's godmom.

I know I had a point to make with that rambling mess, but I've got a fucking headache again and I can't think straight. %&$#!!!

At CCD the other day, the nun said that we shouldn't sue/harass priests anymore for molesting children.

Why? Because god forgives them.

Also, my CCD teacher said "I thank god for giving me the life I lead."

Why can't the life she leads be a result of her own accomplishments and failures and not be because "god" wills her to?

One thing I've learned from four years of Catholic schooling: you can't talk sense to a nun. :|

Nope, ya can't.

I'm tempted to run up to her and say "CHIVALRY IS DEAD."

Because she says that she doesn't wanna see girls holding doors and carrying books...

My favourite is when people ask me if I'm a satanist. Ignorance really makes my day!

ah. i know what you guys mean. i'm catholic and people automatically assume i'm a really devout kid. you know what i'm talking about. anyway, some people need to open their minds with religion. it really isn't black and white.

I've given up on trying to figure out religion. I mean, I'm just going to live my life...

this post reminds me of some poetry i did... it was one of my personal favorites i think it was called Faith (NOT GEORGE MICHAEL)

it means alot, i got the idea for it when one of my substitute teacher lectured my class on why we shouldN'T believe in god... hes a real nutcase but hey i got something out of it... the songs about a girl who decides to leave her own religion and start her own... and others decide to join... she writes her own commandments and bible and stuff.... then something happens that changes her whole life around finally she thinks she's wrong and decides she wants to change back religion but now she thinks its too late...

I Believe in God i worship god though there's a lot of BIBLE i don't understand... it sounds like a good horror movie... (it can't be real most horror films suck) but really ADAM? EVE? its all mumbo jumbo if you ask me

My Grade 10 Research Project was on Creationism. I learned a lot and talked about how bogus it is compared to Evolution.

I'm atheist. I think about Chrisitianity all of the time and how much I could never be a part of it.

But it does interest me. I like to know what I'm talking about before I bash it.

My big problem is the devout Christians who try to turn everybody around them into Christians, and those who aren't Chrisitians are bad horrible people...

Perfect example of why I'm not Christian: www.christiananswers.net
MUSICIAN: You're in a privileged position in society. You're expected to tell the truth
TOWNSHEND: Bullshit! Bullshit! I'm not expected to do anything. Nobody is going to tell me what to do. Nobody is even going to ask me what to do. If anybody doesn't like it, that's their problem. It's my work. If someone doesn't like it, I can't help it.

Whew! The movie reviews are hilarious.

www.yourgoingtohell.com is, hands down, the funniest piece of religious media.
"What will it be like when you get to HELL?"
"Is it true you will be burned in FLAMES?"
"Will people be able to hear you when you scream from the PIT?"
