I love that NWL photo Kathy
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

hooooly crap!

Well I haven't had access to the internet in awhile, but now I'm back in Ottawa and let me tell you London was nuts!

Such a good show...and Hope? I knew there was a chance, but jesus that song was just unbelieveable

My roomate and I had pretty good seats, we got to run over and touch Raine/hold his hand as he sang in the crowd...NWL was pretty good too, I was impressed...I'll have to pick up that CD at the Ottawa show...

FINALLY got to meet all the boys (minus Steve) after the show, Raine said he was in a good mood and stayed for like 30 mins to signautographs/take pics...hahah my roomate didnt wanna stay case she thought it was a lost cause...haha so she was suprised when I called her to come down, and as she's driving, I hand her the phone and its Raine!! haha its the least I could do, and she got there like 2 mins after he left....but man Raine was so nice about talking to her for a coupla minutes..Jer was hilarious, took off in a car drinking his beer as the driver went the wrong way down a one way street lol...and duncan and joel were so sweet

what an awesome night...when I get the pics developed of the boys I'll post 'em,but seriously wow..I have third row for Ottawa on tues so I guess I'll see some of you guys there..? I'm going by myself after work and I may make a sign lol...we'll see if I can think of something good haha

xoxo,
alana

 The "review" that olp.cc linked to says this:

"I missed most of the first opening act, Pedestrian, because I was standing in line to get my memorabilia and I'm regretting it. Pedestrian is a side project of Duncan Coutts and Jeremy Taggart from OLP"

you know something, it was a great show. One of the best shows I've ever been to.

before the show = met some awesome people... where have you people been in the past!? We watched a midget rob Jeremy and Steve through a periscope... right? We also had some strange encounters with certain... animals... of polar descent.

penalty box = best seats ever! Our own little party.

being on stage = hahahhaha... now THAT was fun. Raine found us and helped us out of the penalty box so we could get up there.

after the show = well lets just say... the booze kept flowing, and besides the penguin all was good... very good. I can tell the rest of this story in person...

when we hang with Rich and Shelley... strange things always happen. It's fucking awesome. Though I figured out that I'm afraid of animals... of polar descent.... and midgets with guns.

I thought I smelled cabbage.
