There's likely a simpler way to do it.

I got my video iPod before Christmas and took it on my vacation with me - I LOVE it!! I have loads of music videos that I watched and the video quality was better than I expected. I also have a bunch of kids short movies because I was traveling with my 6 year old nephew... every time he got antsy or started to bug people on the plane I gave him the earphones and played a short kids movie for him. He'd laugh, watch it twice and then be happy for another hour or so. I don't know what I'd have done without it... he's such a pain in the butt when he's bored.

My iPod allowed me to maintain my sanity during vacation when I was on family overload and needed my music fix. Without it I may have returned home and been checked into the psych ward... seriously.

I didn't get mine. They were supposed to get a bunch today but didn't. I can't believe how hard it is to get your hands on one.

I know nothing about iPods. Will it explode in a blazing inferno if I put illegal stuff on it?

i ordered my iPod online today via Apple. I decided jsut to put it on my creditcard and see what happens...may have not been the smartest decision but whatever. I work.

I have to figure out a few things about my iPod too... like why a couple of my mpeg video files won't go on it  Some will, some won't, and I'm not sure what the difference is and how to resolve it.

Mine just randomly won't show some album art. It's annoying.

It has to be in MPEG-4 format. Download Videora iPod converter and just convert the videos.
