Raine's mic was way too low..Steve's guitar..way too low. The new guy's guitar way too high..But it was a pretty decent performance, I've never seen a band have a really great performance on late night tv. I think they should wait for the next single to perform on conan, etc..Where Are You is pretty tough to pull off live.

Performance wasnt bad...it was just so, messy. It seemed live everyone was all over the place. They picked a tough single to play live. It was just kind of hard on the ears.

If they release Angels loosing sleep as the next single, itd be much better for live performances.

ALS would be easier to pull off live, yes, but it would fail miserably in America, and probably in Canada too. It's not single material. Is it one of the best songs on the CD if not the best? Yes. Is it a single? No.

i just saw this on Tivo. It wasn't bad. I felt like I was in LA again cause the vocals were hard to hear and the guitar was loud. :lol:

, but they weren't bad..

he said OLP there must be catholics in that band with a name like Our Lady Peace.. I forgot how funny Craig is. I am going to try to see him again when I go back out there in Fall..

I think Angels would do Ok. But your right about it not being single material, I just thought of it now.

They'll release it through, and I think it might do extremely well in Canada.

Heck, they release Made of Steel as a single, theyll release that for sure/

first, Craig Ferguson is not funny at all.

second, i randomly remembered that they were performing and decided to turn it on for a laugh (which probably doesnt surprise many of you) BUT I thought this was actually their best on TV performance since Gravity came out.

The song does have a wee bit of raw energy and if they could have thought of a little something else instead of using the chrous too many times it may have been a good song. That being said I think their performance was alright and I enjoyed watching everyone pretend to sing (or at least I couldnt hear them).

I would give it a 7/10

I just think its prob incredibly difficult to play live.

The volume was especially messed up last night as well, could barely hear Raine. It was messy.

and how come Raine wasnt wearing his hat?? :wtf:

Where Are You? actually isn't bad live. I am not a huge fan of the song.....but when they played it live I was impressed at the energy and cleaness (is that even a word?) of it.

I have never ever ever ever seen OLP sound good on a late night performance. Ever.
I don't know why. they always come across badly on those shows when they sound good on I&I and shows like that... I didn't see this one, but wouldn't expect it to be any better.

But, never fear, I am sure it sounded 10000X worse on the show than it does regularly live.

And I am pretty happy I decided to be really lazy and not go to the show........because having to sit around those stupid audience shows to hear one song done badly that I would have heard better later that night anyways..........no bueno.

Oh yeah, and I disagree, I think Angels/Losing/Sleep will make a great single.

Granted, I haven't heard the album version yet, but regardless.

Ya it definitly would, it really sounds quite like the live version. Who knows, maybe they'll choose love and trust for the next single, thats Definitly single material.

Pretty sure it's with the silly slashies. It's had them on every official source (olp.com, olp.net, Sony's sites, etc.).
