Could you imagine if he lost?

I think his plan was to just live at home with his parents if he lost. He was young... like 30, so I guess he had a job where he could afford to start buying some things and saving for a place to live had he of lost.

I was thinking the exact same thing reading this thread.

Geez you guys get crappy deals up there. Like ALL the banks around here (and that's a lot of banks) give you free everything. And with Wawas around, ATMs are pretty much free of charge cos there's always a Wawa nearby.

The only time I got charged for anything at a bank was when my savings account dropped below $100 (which was the minimum amount for that specific type of savings account). My checking dropped to a few cents and that didn't matter.

Also, most accounts here have a minimum balance to waive the service fee.

Wawa = convenience store in New Jersey/Pennsylvania/other nearby states cos they're spreading out... all Wawas have free ATMs.

It also happens to be the greatest convenience store chain in the world.

I've been to Wawa, Ontario.

There's a giant goose there and some bathrooms but not much else.

That's kinda funny... cos Wawa's logo has a goose in it:

... and I just learned something new that probably explains all of that...

wawa.com wrote:"Wawa" is a Lenni Lenape Indian word for the Canada Goose that was found in the Delaware Valley, that's why we use the goose on Wawa's corporate logo.
