c-bomb isn't an act or verb, it's a description of something pretty, but you know the other word, the one that starts with a c.

My job is $10/hr and I get to work from home. Even if I work for 10 hours I get paid for 30 every week.

I hate my job. I work in an inbound call centre for $10.50 an hour. 4 hours of my shift consists of answering phone calls from people (americans/canadians) wanting to check status of their rebates or find out where the hell they're rebates are. We process rebates for Costco, Dell, Staples, Canon and other shite companies. Then the other 4 hours consists of processing 30,000 emails and faxes from people asking where the hell their rebates are. During those 4 hours though we're allowed to listen to our discmans/walkmans and eat candy though so I can't complain.
So if you're wondering where the hell your rebate is .. yeah, sorry. We suck.

Actually, WE don't suck, but the companies suck because they're in debt and don't pay us, which means we can't pay you. Canon is horrible for that .. so never buy a printer from Canon thinking you'll get a rebate. It will take 6 months to a year before you'll EVER see that rebate. That's assuming we don't lose it and screw it up when we enter it in the system too .. if that happens, you're looking at another 6 months to have that fixed.
I'm hoping I won't have to do this kind of work much longer.

Like if you buy a Canon printer and it says you get a $50 mail in rebate. The rebates come to us to process. Or on Dell computers and companies like that. We handle phone/email/fax inquiries from people submitting rebates and wanting to check status on them and we enter them in the computers and stuff. Fun stuff.

So you buy something and instead of it costing say $150 you pay them $200 and then they give you $50 back, but in doing it that way they have to employ lots of people like you to give them the $50 that they could have just not charged you in the first place? That doesn't make any sense to me, but if it keeps you in a job it can't be all bad

I think they bank on a lot of people not sending in for the rebate out of laziness.

Stupid lazy people.
I've never seen anything like that over here.

Meh, it's an advertising gimmick. People get excited when they see something that's $200 but comes with a $70 rebate so they think they're getting a good deal and saving money. It's not us behind it .. it's the actual companies like Dell and Canon and Staples behind it. They do the dirty work, they just pay us to handle the bitchy customers who get screwed over.

I bet Monkey's sold stuff with rebates to people that you've dealt with.
