Dr. Hobo wrote:the FDA also stated that depression itself causes suicidal ideations
and as ive mentioned, for the most part paxil, zoloft, etc arent prescribed alone
studies show that they're 1.8 times more likely to show suicidal tendencies. studies conducted by the FDA and other private companies have reported similar findings.

i read the studies
and when prescribed properly those drugs are still effective

but the thing is that they're not always prescribed properly. there's always the possibility of human error.

Just take your drugs like a man, and if you get depressed and suicidal stop taking them.

that's just the thing. the doctor wouldn't have prescribed them to you if she did not feel you were capable of taking them.

they can be wrong though. i mean look at the case of Rittalin, where they're pretty much just prescribed to baby-sit children.
anywayas i dont want to start a thing. i took my pill and i dont think i want to kill myself, so im fine...for now

Yeah I was too lazy to read through 4 pages about Accutane, so I'll just throw my two cents in here.
I took it for four months, and I got dry skin and BRUTALLY chapped lips. I went through 2 chap sticks a week. I had to put the stuff on every 5 minutes or so. Really annoying. The depression thing also kicked in, but my doctor said that I will have that off and on for the rest of my life (

). Anyhow, the acne got really bad before it got better. After the four months was over, it was pretty much gone for good, obviously I still get a zit or two every now and then, but it was definitely worth it.

Uh oh. That could be bad. Get lots of moisturizing cream. But make sure it's not the kind that clogs your pores. Talk to the pharmacist about that, because that could make it worse.
