You know... Beta tapes? The ones that were better quality than VHS but for some reason VHS survived the 70's/early 80's and Betamax didn't.

I'm appalled at how many of you are too young to remember Betamax.

Also, I don't believe that Sarag is actually going to post a picture.

My best friend in senior school had a betamax, well after vhs was everywhere. They gave in to vhs eventually when they couldn't get the videos any more!

My best friend in high school had one, too! They had a few tapes for it and still used it and everything.

We had a betamax. And my dad refused to move to casette tapes for music... so we listened to records and 8-tracks (even when we were teenagers we still had 8-tracks in the car because my dad's cars were all from the 70's).
