i occasionally call things gay. i try to limit it. but i think people are too uptight about it. words like nerd as insults could be offensive to someone who is really a nerd. but you don't see anyone marching for the nerds.

Yes, yes, but then you don't have people killing nerds because of their nerdiness, or saying things like "god hates nerds" and so forth...

sorry, I just think the kid is annoying and goes on and on about nothing. The book is boring. But I don't know, maybe I just don't like it because I HAVE to read it for school. Maybe if I read it on my own I would like it more.

Kick everyone's ass. Men, women, children, itty bitty babies. We could all learn something from a swift kick in the assal area.

idk i thought catcher was pretty good, but i don't think that it's worthy of all the praise it gets. it wasn't altogehter all that special to me. i read 'This Boys Life' not long after reading Catcher and honestly the two stories were so similar that they meshed together in my brain and i can't even remember which plot was which.

sorry about that. it's another thing about our school. i had no idea the word gay was used like that until i came to this school 2 years ago  everyone was using this word. i thought it was dumb but i guess too much of hearing being used around the school (i mean especially by this girl candice who thinks everything is gay) kind of sticks on you. i'll stop using it like that

Hahaha. Clever! It actually translates to "thank you very much", but I suppose yours is more literal...
