Sweet mother of mystery!

I bought Kung Pow and Requiem for a Dream today...Wow, two COMPLETELY different movies. I need to buy Fight Club and Empire Records too... Didn't feel like spending all my money all at once...

Requiem amazes me. I am glad I own it. I made my dad watch it. He didn't speak to me for a week.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

I'm gonna watch it tonight... My mom asked me what it was about today and after I told her she was like "...sounds like a nice family movie  ."

She still hates that I watch R rated movies o_O.

I only felt bad for the mom. She didn't know what she was getting into, even though her son told her about the pills. The three heroin junkies got themselves into that game. Whenever I see that movie, it always brings me down. Then I think of Jennifer Connelly with the big black guy. Then I am ok.
