It isn't my fault I use British Vernacular!

Sooz says Tomatoe Sauce too, I bet you a million dollars.

If ketchup is tomatoe sauce, then what do you put on your pasta?

TOMATOE SAUCE IS WHAT I CALL KETCHUP.

Pasta sauce goes on pasta. Pizza sauce goes on pizza (or marinara). Tomato sauce goes into things you cook. And ketchup goes on your hamburger! YUM!

I hate it when people come into my restaurant and ask for a Coke, and when I get them one they actually wanted Pepsi but think Coke just means soda.

That is annoying. But so are some restuarants. I ordered a pepsi, they're like we don't have that. So I said I'll take a coke, they didn't have that either. I ordered a sprite then, they didn't have that either. So I asked what they did have, and they tell me they carry (among other things) Diet coke, and 7 up.

that's way too complicated, tomato sauce is cooked (with different things according to what it's going on) tomato paste that you put on stuff like pizza and pasta, and ketchup is a completely different entity involving sugar and thickeners and stuff and it goes on fries and burgers and grilled cheese if you're me.

Well that's what I meant!

They carried Diet Coke and not Coke? Weird. But I did hear a thing on the news where soda companies are going to push their diet drinks as their main drink instead of the usual one. Sounds to me like the world has gone crazy. If you want a soda, have the sugar. If you're on a diet, DRINK WATER!

Apparently people who drink diet drinks are more likely to become overweight in the long run

I'm gonna say that beer is more nasty than Coke...

I would believe that because people who drink diet sodas are probably yoyo dieters.

i heard that too. i heard that it's because people think that since they are drinking diet drinks, they can eat more. so they eat more, and end up gaining weight

How about the concept of drinking diet soda to avoid the extremely high amounts of sugar? Or is that too far fetched? And water is a pretty poor substitute for soda...
