FUCK
my advisor rejected my course approval form on the basis that half the courses i put down can't be taken by freshman and i'm not fulfilling the requirements and i'm not taking enough in each category.
well how the hell was i supposed to know that?! this whole online bag of shit is really pissing me off. i read the course book of freshman requirements and it said NOTHING about this stuff, apparently i was supposed to surf through 15 pages of it online instead. GRRRRRR.
why can't i just meet with my advisor like normal people!

b/c then you would have to drive all the way to montreal.
yea you have to take boring, bullshit courses first...wait i am still taking those in my third year
go with writing, math, a science (computer science is good), social science, and intro to your major course.

Or you can be in the situation I am in and really can't take anything for your major. My school makes me wait until my junior year before I can actually get into any classes that will mean anything for my major, which is bullshit, seeing that after this upcoming semester, I will have no available classes for me to take. So yeah, I will be taking 4 classes that have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with my major or pre-requisites. In other words, my school likes to anally penetrate me.

Me too Bethany...me too. I'm actually starting to take some prereqs this semester...but it's still mostly bullshit. Ecomoics, botany...etc. Why would a business major need botany, I ask?

I think I want to be a psychiatrist. Though apparently that'd require I go through about a decade or more of schooling, so I think I'll go one or two rungs down that career ladder and be a therapist. hm.

I'm happy

I met the Manics today, they were very nice and signed my CDs. They looked tired, though.
I went with the guy I thought I liked. Am pleased to announce, I was wrong. Well, I like him...but as a friend. Das ist gut.
I have also eaten very little today and am not feeling hungry at all. I go on holiday in a month's time so I don't want to be too wide.
ALSO...I've broken up from college now so I'm all free
