sometimes places have a warranty plan where it starts after the manufacturer's warranty ends. So it might've been that they extended the microsoft warranty by two years. So microsoft covers the first year and then they cover two more years after that. However, if they only cover two years from the date of purchase, it's absolutely future shop's job to handle all the repairs, because you're paying for a year that they should have to honour.
Yes but Lando, the Microsoft tech told me that Futureshack should've repaired the machine themselves since I purchased the warranty extra. He said that in my case, Microsoft should be considered a safety net when it comes to warranty and repairs.
technically speaking the big box companies like futureshop, best buy, et al. sell those extended warranties on top of the manufacturer's warranties as lando said
unless everything has changed since i left north america that is
yeah, so if it's not an inclusive warranty, but an EXTENDED warranty which only starts once the microsoft warranty period ends, then it's microsoft's job to cover it if it's within the first year of you owning it.
Hahahahahaha you got a futureshop warrenty?? sucker.

Lando (or anybody)......any idea where I can find the audio of the Xbox360 loading sound. Also the same sound you hear when the logo pops up at the end of the game commercials.
I want that sound clip for my phone. If anybody can track it down; you get sweet man love from me.
Gracias.
