Hmm, didn't know they played all those before. Still, it's been quite a while for most of them! :)

According to OLP's Twitter, it looks like they are going to be part of The Hour's Holiday special on December 24, on CBC! That should be interesting. I wonder if it will be live... you wouldn't expect the guys to be away from their families on Holiday Eve.

I think I prefer hearing the album played first because the band will have more energy than after they have played an hour or an hour and a half. Plus it opens the second half of the show up to many possibilities. I'm absolutely looking forward to hearing the entire albums, but if they played the album for the 2nd set there are no surprises for the last 10 - 11 songs.

I suppose it would also work if they played all their hits in the first set (including the usual encore material such as Starseed), the album in the 2nd set, and then 4+ song encore with other treasures and rarities.

But if the band is starting to get tired by the end of the show or Raine's voice is wearing out, I would rather have it be during Starseed than The Wonderful Future or Car Crash....

As for Clumsy songs played live, Big Dumb Rocket was played a lot throughout 1997 (and in November of 1995). It was less commonly played in 1998 and hasn't been played on any tours since. I think the only non-single from that album that has been played since 1998 is Car Crash. Guess that's the problem when you have an album with so many hit singles on it! The Story of 100 Aisles is only on 1 setlist in the archive from Rich and Shelley's site (but sometimes people remember things wrong, or mix up song names, so it's possible that they never played it).

I did not say BDR was never done. I said I never saw it done.. They only played 45 minutes if lucky cause most of the times I saw them for Clumsy was as openers..

I think it will be great to see.. As I joked with someone the other night. The first part is about 45-60 minutes long. OLP are opening for themselves. :)

I'll try... but I can't fit in another signature, I'm already trying to endorse a band with mine!

Even though trying to advertise Marianas Trench's music is futile, seeming as very, very few of you are their normal audience --unless there are some hidden tweenage to teenage females lurking in the woods! Not counting me, of course. :)

This is why I like you...OLP and the Hour - I don't know many people your age that even know what those 2 things are, or care. The Hour is easily one of my favorite shows, at least its the only one I might watch on a regular basis.

Sure thing -- need me to post the tour dates on sites like dimeadozen.org, thetradersden.org, and taperssection.com?

I wonder if one of the unlisted VIP extras is a limited pressing 180g LP with gatefold cover of the album played that night...

Hey TW,

Are you going to be setting up a Facebook event for these shows, or do you want us to set up are own for the local ones? Anything you want in particular on them?

I can set up and manage one for Regina, or let me know if you guys are handling all of that!

Well, I like you, too! I was really disappointed, because I thought the special was on this Friday, and I'm doing a hockey road trip, but thankfully, it's on the 21 and replaying on the 24.

The Hour is so interesting though, and it's nice to get intellectual. Plus, George is my cup of tea. I adore that man.

Thank you again. :) I'm a little odd for my age, but I like to think of it as a good thing.

I was thinking of making an event, actually. Just thinking of it, but probably wouldn't actually do it.

Its actually on the 21st, OLPs Tweet was wrong. And its not live, I just saw a very short clip of Raine singing Elvis! A must see for sure!
