It will be a good single, id like to hear some good kick ass rocking songs though, preferably a little less poppy, but overall the songs are much better then the last two cds. Im hoping the guys keep the backing vocals in the final product.

Christine, when I heard AYDWSML, the first song that came to mind was Where Are You. The guitar and the melody of the verses are a lot like it... not to mention the little breakdown before the chorus in both songs.

you can actually sing the chorus to AYDWSML along to where are you...but i really think AYDWSML is a much better song and will be a smash hit for them

Yeah, after listening to it a few more times (and by "a few more times", I really mean that I've been listening to it non-stop since last night), I do see some similarities to "Where Are You?", mainly in the beat. Jeremy's drumming is almost identical in the pre-chorus and chorus for both songs.

However, I agree that the song is far better overall (and I actually liked "Where Are You?"), and I think their overall tones are quite a bit different. "Where Are You?" was a full-on high energy pop song from start to finish. This one, as Raine mentioned in the opening at The Rivoli, is all about the slow build, and I really, really dig the slow, quieter parts, which in turn make the explosion of the chorus even more exciting/kick-ass.

I had to read through pages to finally get to the end of this thread. :)

I've listened to it, and I'm just bursting with excitement. I think AYDWSML has similarities to Waiting For Something to Happen in the overall 'feel' of it, and I don't hear 'Where Are You?' in it at all. I'm completely infatuated with this song at the moment. It feels like I'm being wrapped in a warm blanket and cuddled... I can't explain why, but it gives me such a good feeling, and plus, it sounds like the guys are enjoying themselves, which also helps.

I don't really like the song title (I wish it'd be something a little less wordy and a bit more creative) but the song is giving me hope. The faith I had lost is now restored.

I'm on a music high right now.

OK seriously, if ANY of you had any doubts left about Steve being able to handle this stuff, that video right there should have dispelled those doubts.

Steve is awesome, end of story, and I am SO jealous that I couldn't go to this show!

I agree. I'm a drummer, and therefore devote pretty much all of my attention to the drummer at just about any show I go to, just because that's what generally interests me most. It takes a pretty fantastic performance by any other member of the band to grab my attention, but Steve had me mesmerized for just about the whole show, which is saying a lot, considering Jeremy happens to be my favourite musician on the planet.

In conclusion, Steve pwnages.

That was one of the BEST versions of Supermans dead I have probably heard.

PLEASE LET STEVE PLAY LIKE THAT ON THE NEW CD

my biggest beef on the last two cds was the under utilization of steves play, the guy can fucking play that shit, let him go crazy!@!

Steve plays like that all the time now, I hate it when people are down on him! I admit I was skeptical when he first joined up but he quickly proved himself, and I think he's earned all of our respect, especially as a member of OLP. That video just proved it.

Codes, I hope the same thing.

All You Did Was Save My life - Raine wrote this song with his friend... take news about this being a single as a grain of salt. They still don't know for sure. I'm guessing it will be the first single though.

I saw some of you talking to Steve... I'm really bad with faces and names though.

Apparently... I'm from New Zealand. ;)
