If it makes you feel any better, the kittens started mysteriously dying so they had to return the remaining ones to the shelter.

And wow, I just tried to console someone with a dead kitten.

I literally had to detach my cat from this poisonous plant in our front window last night. We had a bigger version of it in our living room that I got rid of because she kept eating it, but now she climbs up in the window to get at the other one, so I'm going to have to get rid of that one too! I read online that the damn thing could kill their kidneys, but that cats should know to stay away with it. Not my crack-baby cat.

So Broken Social Scene.

Most phenomenal sounds that've ever graced my ears. Plus they had a new girl who was heart breakingly cute.

So we saw a lot of Kevin Drew's ass. Feist was the coolest adult I've ever seen, and Sarah Harmer showed up for some reason.

Jess didn't post some that I like.

The opener was one lady named Sally. Her band was called New Buffalo, but I guess the rest of the band couldn't make it because most of her set was her singing over music played off an ipod (an orange one!). Odd setup, sounded fabulous. She was the most serene person I've ever seen. Sounded like Emily Haine's recorded a solo album as written by Cat Power. Anyway.

She was lovely.

I got her autograph and shook her hand.
