This morning I awoke at 6 in the morn to win free tickets for the Nelly Furtado concert before they go on sale on Friday.

This being me, i NEVER wake up that early, but I really really wanted to win.

At about 6:30 there was a second contest thing to win some stupid prize pack, and the answer to the question was jason mraz and it was really obvious "can you find THE REMEDY to this question" and it took them three tries to finally get someone who could figure the damn thing out. I was going to call then, but I figured that would significantly lower my chances with the Nelly.

Finally at 7:15, they announced it was time to call in. So I run to the phone, and call..... 549-HITS. This should make sense of course, that's the radio station. Noooooo, a rather bitter tired woman answers with a "This ain't the damn radio!!".

Perplexed, I try again. There's still a chance, right? Same bitter lady, but this time she knows its me before she answers and the first thing she says is "STILL ain't the freaking radio!"

Quite upset at this point, I realize the number was actually 545-HITS. By this time, all I get is a busy signal. I crawl back in bed, at this point it's actually time to get up, and turn the radio back on right in time to hear "Wow, I didn't plan this at all. Just heard it on the radio a minute ago and thought I'd try, thanks for the tickets!!"

I've been up since SIX O'CLOCK and YOU win??!?! BITCH!

If that was one of you this morning, I'm sorry, but I'll be forced to kill you.

Alright then.

Yannic you have to learn the art of the radio call-in. I do it all the time to my radio stations. Its like a technique you need to aquire. Except here our radio stations are cheap and crappy so the best I can go for is movie passes. Occasionally there are trips and shit but I would rather not see Kelly and Clay thank you.

On that note, American Idol is the crappiest of the crap. Its the worst thing to happen to television since the weakest link. *shudder*

I don't have a TV. I do have textbooks, The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide, and a few other books that I have not and probably will not ever open (some textbooks fall into this category as well).

THANK YOU Mel! At least somebody else agrees with me. My fiance, my best friend, and his girlfriend all think I'm whacked when I saw that. I cannot STAND her voice. Fanastasia can blow Neil........no, she can't.

Diana's going home, I think, unless the Amherst NY John (the redhead, no personality) does. I cannot STAND that kid!
