Jacqui...when do you have spring break? Rob's is like the 17th-23rd.
If you have break that same week, I smell a possible weekend trip to Ann Arbor....

I got to meet all the guys except Jeremy last year at Northern Lights near Albany and they were all really nice, especially Duncan and Steve. Raine only talked for a little while. The security guard there was really cool, he said that he understands how us fans are, but it's his job to clear as many people away from the bus as possible after a show. And when the crowd dies down to about 10 people, then the band comes out. I was so plastered that I'm suprised that I could even get two words out to them. What a night.

I read the post of what happened to some of you,
maybe you will think I am a bitch for saying this.
The band does not owe us anything. No band does. Sure we put money in their pockets and things like that. It is nice if they acknowledge you. And yes it does suck waiting out in the cold. I was out in the cold for the UCONN show. Thank GOD for the student center and my friends' carsi so at least we could get some warmth when it got really bad.
For most part OLP have always been fan oriented and tried to accomadate all their fans. But you can not please everyone all the time. They were probably tired from the drive. I mean St John's NF isn't exactly close to Rochester now.
I can see why you are disappointed, but look at it this way. I am sure you all have days when you just don't want to be bothered for whatever reason. I wouldn't hold it against the band. As I have said they don't owe us anything. Whenever I go see OLP, I never expect to meet them. If I do, I feel that more blessed instead of disappointed.
YOu should just consider yourself lucky for having had the opportunity of meeting the band before. Some fans haven't. Some haven't even gotten the chance to see them perform live yet.
Remember it is your choice to wait. They don't tell you to.
as I said if some of you are offended by this post I make no apoligies. I have seen too many people complain about bands not stopping, signing or what have you. If there is a handful of people I think it is bad. But if it is 30 people or more, you can't always stop.
there were only about 10 people after the UCONN show, as far as I know only Duncan came over to talk to people. Everyone else stayed on the bus till it was pack up. I also know they were driving back to Canada. I don't hate the band for not coming out. I have meet them several times. I also got to see Steve before the show. Poor thing was freezing. That is the choice you made. You need to accept the outcome whether good or bad.

Jacqui, I can't see your sig pic, but I know what it is.

Yay! I have no idea where you can host it... there are so few sites left that allow off site linking. It's really annoying.

I got really badly dehydrated during OLP. It's pretty normal for me, too, but this was the worst I've ever been. I was so bad that I asked a security guard for water... and he actually GOT IT for me... he even had to go someplace else to get it because there wasn't any in the front of the venue... he handed it to me and said, "here, you really don't look good... your color's really off." You KNOW you look bad when security gets you a bottle of water.

I drank it in about 30 seconds. Which for me is a big deal.

on friday, steve from longwave was drinking water(he had one more just sitting there) and people were begging him for water because irving plaza is evil and they wouldnt let us bring our water in. anyway, so he threw it out and sai "you guys are going to have to share....there's only one" but there were like, 7 people askign for water. so then he capped the water eh was drinking and threw it out too---and it was his last bottle! and he wasnt through the set yet.

awesome. *fallingin love iwth longwave*

Not yet.

They're on Monkey's laptop, but he forgot to burn them to cd for me. Hopefully I'll have them tomorrow. *crosses fingers*
Oh man, they're funny, though. Monkey called us "stupid" and said "I waited 15 minutes for THIS?!?" Silly Monkey, just doesn't get it.

Hahah, I can't wait to see them again. I couldn't really laugh as much as I wanted cos I had a grumpy Monkey looking at me like I was crazy before.
Jacqui, you make the best Raine ever.
And watching Kimmy run into the wall is beyond hilarious. Hahhaha. I wonder how Steve freaks out like that on stage and doesn't ever fall over. How funny would it be if he did someday.

I'd feel bad for him, but it'd be the funniest thing to watch.
OK, bedtime.
